In July there is a 7 day festival - based around the Moors & Christians. The entire town gets involved and dresses up for the week to re-enact the defence of the town against pirates in the 1500´s. With spectacular firework displays & food aplenty - this is a fabulous example of a traditional Spanish fiesta.
